Roelof van Lohuizen (Curaçao, 1993) has been working as a paralegal at Soliana, Bonapart & Aardenburg since December 2019, where he provides legal support in various matters.

Roelof’s journey at Soliana, Bonapart & Aardenburg began as an intern, where he quickly demonstrated a keen legal mind and a strong work ethic. After earning his Bachelor of Laws (LLB), he was offered a position as a paralegal.
His prior experience in the private sector, specifically within a family-owned construction company, provided him with valuable insights into the practical application of legal principles in business settings.

His specialization in labor and contract law reflects his commitment to understanding and shaping the legal landscape in these critical areas.
Roelof already holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Dutch Law from the University of The Dutch Caribbean.

After this, Roelof decided in 2021 to move to the Netherlands to pursue his Master’s degree at the Tilburg University. He continued to combine his work as a paralegal with his study. After four years in the Netherlands and after successfully defending his thesis, he moved back to Curaçao to take the necessary steps toward practicing as a lawyer.

He is fluent in Dutch, English, Papiamentu, and Spanish.
